The series Atterrissages is an integral part of L’Alien project.
Seven years after the Alien first set foot on Earth, there has been an increase in the number of UFO from Trappist 1-D. In the Jura Mountains, countless extraterrestrials are arriving every day in greater numbers to escape their war-torn planet.
Starting from this synopsis, pupils in Lajoux, a small town in the Haut-Jura region, France, worked on producing a fake news report during a week of classroom workshops with artist Maxime Callen. This first episode in a series of mock news reports raises new issues that other classes will be asked to reflect on during workshops led by the artist in the Jura region. All of the videos produced form the series Atterrissages and invite children to think about other possibilities.
