This lecture-performance was specially designed for the artist’s book project Tu ne te souviendras pas (You Will Not Remember).

This book stems from a reflection on traces in performance. I undertook a project to freeze performance clothing as a way of archiving these performances. This diverse research, spanning performance, installation and photography, led me to conceive an artist’s book that goes beyond simply documenting the project.

In collaboration with graphic designers Rovo, we designed this book to be evolving and modifiable, retaining the idea of transformation and movement present in my artistic work. It can be activated and viewed in various ways (booklet/map/object in space). This conference-performance allows us to deploy and activate this reality ‘printed’ in the book.

This artist’s book project received a creation grant from the Occitanie Region. Lieu-commun artist-run-space and the Chapelle Saint-Jacques are financial partners of the project. Graphic design of photographs by Damien Aspe, text by Valérie Mazouin, printing and binding by Lézard graphique and Reprint.
