Brown Paper Bags

2018

Set of helmets
Brioche, sheepskin, sandstone, skin glue, chalk, metal oxides, reinforced paper

Designed as a protection system that allows you to isolate yourself from the world, Brown Paper Bag is a set of wearable sculptures. However, made of ceramic, these sculptures are heavy, restrictive and fragile. Available in sheepskin or brioche, they are blind and / or crumbly. They need to be worn to have meaning but are unsuitable for their use. Here, perched on their bases, the helmets form a group of strange beings who seem to be in dialogue with each other.
