This site-specific installation reinterprets the function of the ceiling. Six panels of cotton canvas, painted with acrylic, are suspended horizontally, forming a series of floating surfaces. Here, the paint is conceived as a temporary architectural covering, disrupting the perception of the original volume. This textile sky also evokes the tent as one of the earliest forms of architecture. The suspended ensemble modulates the light and directs the viewer’s gaze upwards, creating a physical and contemplative experience that departs from traditional pictorial formats to engage in a dialogue with the built space. A kind of false textile ceiling, it conceals the existing one, creating a pictorial filter between the viewers and the museum’s architecture.
