These models of Cambodian architectures are the result of deconstructing cardboard packaging of commercial decorative objects that use representations of Buddha. By reversing the relationship between inside and outside, the advertising image usually demonstrative taken out of context, becomes more modest. Hidden from sight, it is revealed in a precious and sacred way inside these temples. Building a roof is a way of caring for these images as much as for the objects, as much as for the bodies. I question and try to reconcile these objects emptied of their meaning with their heritage, creating a dialogue between the commercially derived object and its forgotten ancestor, whose fractures are still active in the present.
