Le Fond, la Forme et la Couleur

Designed in response to an invitation from Les Abattoirs, Frac-Musée Occitanie Toulouse, to participate in the group show So White, Le Fond, la Forme et la Couleur (The Background, Form and Colour) is both a performance and an installation: the installation preceded the performance, was modified during the performance, and then remained on display for the duration of the exhibition.

Based on the notions of colour, form and matter, my reflection naturally evokes questions related to painting and in particular to the concept of Suprematism created by Kasimir Malevich, through fragments of his writings.

From allegory to metaphor, white squares emerge.
