Daniel(s) et moi, 300g/416g
2017
Performance
26 minutes
Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse, Toulouse, France
Invited to engage in dialogue with Daniel Spoerri’s exhibition Les dadas des deux Daniel (a cabinet of curiosities highlighting the connections between his works, his collection and that of Daniel Cordier), I decided to intervene in the space of the staircase leading to the museum’s Picasso room. Two white tablecloths, each adorned with the first name Daniel, are arranged symmetrically on the staircase. In a gesture of appropriation of these two men, the collector and the artist, but also of the primary function of the Abattoirs building, I then draw on two hearts, theirs.
