For several years now, I have been developing a ceramic practice focused on reconstructing forms produced by everyday and street uses, based on my Mexican photographs.

Continuing this relationship between photography, sculpture and public space, I proposed a project for La borne combining three-dimensional foregrounds and photographic backdrops. The installation, arranged according to different viewpoints, consists of ceramic pieces and photographs of walls, printed specifically in a format close to scale 1, to be placed on the walls of the exhibition space.

The works were chosen to articulate the terms of celebration with those of housekeeping, the space of the studio with that of the street. They can be perceived as traces of a completed activity, as elements left unfinished, abandoned or signifying a presence waiting for someone to return.
