Canicule (et autres photogrammes de l'été)

This set of inverted cyanotypes was produced using the same principle as the series Mon premier cyanotype et autres épreuves, during summer residencies where I led workshops dedicated to this photographic process. On these occasions, I use my free time to create photograms with elements found at the host location, then digitally interpret their negatives as colored shadows. Three objects from ESAT Roc Castel in Caylar (Hérault, south french departement) in 2023, including a production (Flag) by Aldébaran, which organized the residency. A bird (sparrow) that fell victim to the intense heat, found on the ground like many others in the area at that time, at the Domaine de Rouïere in Quarante (Hérault, south french departement) in 2025.
