My performance work always involves a spatial dimension and a dialogue with constraints. Similarly, for this performance, I invited the players of Athlétic Football Club, the women’s football team from Bouzigues-Loupian, to test themselves against several limits (of space, light, sound) and to experiment with overcoming them.

During the first 45 minutes, I rearranged the playing area using materials specific to my work (tape, fabric, tarpaulins, towels, ropes, paper, etc.). The colours of the materials and my outfit were limited to blue (the colour of the team and the sky), green (the colour of the grass) and white (also present on their jerseys). An audio recording made during a training session session accompanied my presentation. For the last 45 minutes, a football match was played on the new space I had redesigned, accompanied by opera excerpts and without lighting. Only phosphorescent bracelets allowed the players to identify their teammates after dark.
