May 31st is said to be a pagan celebration dedicated to the Mysteries of Persephone, according to some rather obscure internet sources… It’s also the closing date of Sempervirent·e, an exhibition in which I present a video about this mythological figure. In collaboration with the Fournil Résistance bakery in Saint Bertrand de Comminges, I create loaves of bread that are interwoven with braids of ceramic glazed with ash. I invite the public to a ritual of endings, a transition.
