On the banks of the Rhine, near Strasbourg, there is a forest where wood borers and mushrooms are allowed to do their work. In 2012, I collected wood in this forest and dried it. I cut the branches to about the length of a calf and coat them with a mixture of hide glue and chalk. They become almost bones, not quite. In 2018, I burned a last composition of And other stuff in Aveyron and collected the ashes.
